Chicken burrito with guacamole and sour cream

Tex-Mex cuisine is notorious for its variety of burritos, sometimes served warm, sometimes cold as simple wraps. This burrito recipe presented here is for a chicken burrito served cold or slightly warm, convenient in that all these ingredients are easy to find and this recipe is quickly done; as a bonus this Tex-Mex recipe will be appreciated by kids and grownups from around the world!

Chicken Burrito


Recipe for Chicken Guacamole Burritos

Ingredients for 6 guests:

* 6 Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
* 12 Large Wheat Flour Tortillas,
* 1 cup guacamole
* 1 cup Sour cream, or better: Crème fraîche
* 1 romaine lettuce head
* 1/4 cup Olive oil
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 6 turns of the Pepper Mill
* Paprika
* Cumin powder

Preparation:

1) Wash the lettuce leaves then thoroughly dry them. Chop the lettuce into thin strips.

2) In a pan, drizzle a little bit of olive oil and when it is hot, sprinkle some paprika and cumin in the oil then mix in the chicken breasts until they are well coated with the spices. Flip the chicken pieces when they are ready so they cook on both sides, Check to make sure they are cooked completely, then slice them into strips.

3) Mix the sour cream in the chopped lettuce; season with salt and pepper, and some paprika or chili powder

4) Spread some shredded lettuce in the center of the tortillas, lenghtwise, then add some guacamole over it. Arrange the chicken strips and then roll the tortilla. Repeat the process for each chicken burrito...
